We haven't bought either; every line here comes from the sellers' own pages, read on October 2, 2026. Both sell a sequence of Montessori lessons. To see the order of the work before you spend anything, the open sequence is free here.

What 4 years costs

Themes against subjects is the real difference

It comes down to how the lessons are arranged. The membership groups work into monthly interdisciplinary themes and gives you a Lesson Explorer to pull lessons by subject or skill. Multisori lays out seven subjects, from math and language to geography and art, in what it calls the traditional Montessori scope and sequence.

Support differs too. The membership is built around its community: office hours every month on Complete, live coaching on Unlimited. Multisori includes one semester of group coaching with AMS-certified guides in its Complete bundles.

Questions about Child of the Redwoods and Multisori

Which is cheaper, Child of the Redwoods or Multisori?

Over more than a year, Multisori, because it's a one-time purchase.

At the prices on October 2, 2026, Child of the Redwoods Complete costs $506 in the first year ($444 plus the $62 enrollment fee). After that it costs $444 a year, so four years comes to $1,838. Multisori's Primary PDF covers four years for $549 at its sale price. Note the ages, though: the membership runs to age 9, and Multisori Primary stops at 6.5.

Is Multisori secular?

Multisori doesn't say either way on the product page, FAQ or home page we read, and we saw no religious content there. By contrast, the Child of the Redwoods FAQ states that its curriculum is secular.

Can I get a refund from Child of the Redwoods or Multisori?

Not from Child of the Redwoods: its terms say no refunds for any reason, and annual plans can't be cancelled early. Multisori: not for digital products if the complaint is something the website or free sample could have told you; other problems are handled by email. Read both samples first.

Where each line comes from

We have bought neither, and neither link earns us anything. The other five programs are on the curricula comparison.

Whichever you pick, the first month looks the same: a low shelf, a few works and a long morning. How to homeschool Montessori sets up that week before the first lesson arrives.

If you aren't sure where your child fits, two minutes of questions give you a starting shelf for each child.
